I was looking for a very short book to read reason being I want to read a specific number of books before I write my own.And to be honest I am getting a little impatient, thats when I stumbled upon this book on Kindle. The book was by Margaret Artwood (the genius)and was only 36 pages! Win and a win.
I got into it almost immediately when one of the reviews said “witch” in it. The book is about a girl living in a suburbia with her peculiar , forthright and controlling mother. You see , all the qualities of a witch! The mother casually talks about hexes, brews concoctions , reads tarot , helps troubled women of the neighbourhood. To read how these eccentricities affect the mother daughter relationship is quite a treat.
The book is well structured and clear with all its 36 pages. It’s funny , articulate and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy.
